Recruit a new marketing plan.

Remember when we used to walk down the street and see “now hiring” signs in windows…am I ageing myself? Remember when potential candidates used to flock to us in overwhelming numbers to apply for our jobs on LinkedIn..back before the talent revolution happened that Sarah talked about in our last blog

As Sarah highlighted last week, according to SHRM, companies that incorporate recruitment marketing into their hiring strategy generate more applicants and save major dollars on total talent costs.

Have you ever considered recruitment in your marketing plans? If not, you aren’t alone. But if you have employees or need employees, incorporating marketing into your recruitment planning is a great way to set yourself apart in the competitive environment.

Sounds great, right! But where do you start? Here are a few thought-starters for your content marketing -

SHOW-OFF YOUR CULTURE

How are you demonstrating your companies culture? This is about action, not words, like sharing a behind-the-scenes look at a brainstorming session, sharing ideas about how your employees connect while working remotely, or posting some photos from seasonal celebrations.

MAKE A CONNECTION WITH YOUR LEADERS

A visionary leader who relates with their people can be incredibly inspiring and motivating to current and potential employees. Make space for content that shares this thought-leadership and gets employees bought into the purpose and vision of your organization.

BE PEOPLE-CENTRED

Our people are the most valuable resource, so share wins, superpowers, or interesting anecdotes about your team. Build community amongst your team and future team members with authentic, human stories from your company.

GIVE A DAMN

Think about the causes, issues, and charities your company cares about and be thoughtful about how this shows up in your content marketing plans. Your company’s values and how they translate to the causes you care about are a beacon to potential applicants who live purpose-driven lives.

Interested in building a content marketing plan that’s a perfect fit for your brand and recruitment goals? Say hey, we’d love to get this into motion with you!
